Colin Trow-Poole came all the way from Worcester to visit us tonight. A journey of over 150 miles. His talk was definitely in two halves. The first being mainly, but not exclusively, landscapes including architecture abstracts and urban scapes and the second being nearly all portraits.
Colin Trowe-Poole FRPS, FIPF, MPAGB with his talk "Simply Mono" This was an outstanding lecture, consisting entirely of monochrome prints, which delighted many of our members who are monochrome enthusiasts. We saw a variety of both darkroom and digital prints consisting of landscapes, graphic abstract images, street photography etc.

The Celtic Challenge Competition was held in the afternoon, the Judges were Phil and Gwen Charnock from L&CPU. This was followed by the Celtic Challenge Print Lecture by Colin Trow-Poole MPAGB, FRPS, FIPF. The day ended with the Celtic Challenge Dinner and Awards Presentations.
