Born in Macau, Vivian Choi won the Royal College of Music's Hopkinson Gold Medal and Dannreuther Concerto Prize and numerous international awards including 1st Prize in the Washington International Piano Competition.
Vivian Choi was born in Macao and grew up in Hong Kong. At fifteen, she came as an Associated Board Scholar to the RCM where she studied piano with Kendall Taylor. She obtained a BMus degree and won the Hopkinson Gold Medal and Dannreuther Concerto Prize.
Celebrated pianist Vivian Choi will give a free recital Sunday, March 20, at 3 p.m. in the private dining room of the AMU student union. Her program will include works by Schubert, Lizst, Messiaen, Rogers, Crozier, and Gershwin.
